Owner's note
Don't Google this — drive north on OK-259, mile marker 6, pull off on the right. There's a single bench.
Marked on a few maps as "the overlook" — the official name is rarely used. Best at sunrise or 30 minutes before sunset.

Chahta Foundation Overlook is one stop on a Broken Bow weekend. Most guests drive in Friday afternoon, spend Saturday on the water or in Hochatown, and head home Sunday. Two nights is the minimum on most dates, three feels a lot better. Cell service is patchy once you leave the main road, so download your map before you arrive, and bring groceries — the nearest full store is in Broken Bow proper, about 15 minutes south of the cabin strip.
We host two cabins here ourselves and answer every message personally. If you are not sure which dates are open or which cabin fits your group, just ask — we would rather help you plan than watch you guess.
