Refund Policy

14-day money-back guarantee
We want you to book with confidence. If you change your mind about a reservation with Broken Bow Escapes (operated by Justin Whitaker), you may request a full refund of any amount paid within 14 days of your original booking date, provided your check-in date is more than 14 days away.
Bookings made within 14 days of check-in are not eligible for the change-of-mind refund window because the stay is imminent. Anything paid for those bookings is still subject to a refund where required by law or where we cancel the booking ourselves.
Cancellations after the 14-day window
Once the 14-day change-of-mind window has passed, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable, and any balance already paid for stays cancelled within 14 days of check-in is non-refundable. If we are able to re-book your dates, we will refund what we recover, less a $50 administrative fee.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel your stay for any reason (maintenance, weather damage, force majeure, double-booking on a third-party calendar, etc.) we will refund 100% of what you have paid us.
How to request a refund
Our payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle. To request a refund:
- Visit paddle.net and enter the email address you used at checkout — Paddle will email you a link to manage your purchase and request a refund.
- Or email us directly at hello@brokenbowescapes.com with your booking reference and we will process it with Paddle on your behalf.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Bank processing typically takes 5–10 business days.
Damage and house-rules charges
If we charge you for damage, excessive cleaning, or breach of the stay rules in our Terms, those charges are documented and itemized separately and are not covered by the refund windows above.
