Sound of Sunshine — large-group Broken Bow cabin

Broken Bow cabins · Large groups

Broken Bow cabins built for 18 to 20 (or 38, together).

Most listed 'large group' cabins in Broken Bow are 8–12 sleepers with bunks stacked into closets. Broken Bow Escapes is two purpose-built large cabins — Sound of Sunshine (sleeps 18) and As Good As It Gets (sleeps 20) — with real bedrooms, real bathrooms, and the gathering spaces a reunion, milestone birthday, or small wedding actually needs.

Real beds, real baths, not bunk-room math.

Between the two cabins, every guest gets a real mattress in a room with a door. Six bedrooms in Sound of Sunshine, five in As Good As It Gets. Bathroom counts (4.5 and 5) are sized so morning routines don't queue. Linens are hotel-grade, cleaned by our own team between stays.

Spaces that split a big group into small ones.

A large group only works if subgroups can self-organize. Each cabin has at least three distinct gathering zones — kitchen island, living room, game room, deck, fire pit, hot tub — so the kids, the cooks, the card players, and the early-risers all find their corner.

Book both for 38 sleepers on one trip.

Wedding parties and extended-family reunions often book Sound of Sunshine and As Good As It Gets together for the same dates. We coordinate the hold so both are reserved simultaneously, and run the welcome / concierge handoff for both as one stay.

Direct booking saves the group meaningful money.

On a 3-night stay across both cabins at peak rates, Airbnb and Vrbo service fees add roughly $1,500–$2,000 on top — money that goes to a platform, not your trip. Booking direct on brokenbowescapes.com is always the lowest published rate, with no third-party fees and direct access to the local team.

Questions, answered

Plan with confidence.

What is the largest Broken Bow cabin you offer?
As Good As It Gets sleeps 20 across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms — our largest cabin. Sound of Sunshine sleeps 18 across 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Together they sleep 38 on the same trip if you're hosting two parties.
Are these cabins good for family reunions?
Yes — reunions are the most common booking. Both cabins have multiple living spaces, game rooms, large kitchens with island seating, and outdoor gathering areas (fire pits, hot tubs, decks) so the group can spread out without feeling stacked on top of each other.
Do you allow events, weddings, or large parties?
Small private events for registered overnight guests are welcome (think rehearsal dinner, milestone birthday, baby shower for the people staying with you). Open-invite parties with non-guests, amplified music after 10pm, and ticketed events are not permitted to protect the neighbors and the property.
Can both cabins be booked together?
Yes. Many wedding and reunion groups book Sound of Sunshine + As Good As It Gets on the same dates for 38 total guests. Email or call once you have your dates and we'll hold both on the same hold.
How early do large groups need to book?
For peak weekends (October leaf season, Memorial Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas) the large cabins fill 6–9 months out. Shoulder months (February–April, late August–September) usually have 4–8 weeks of lead time available.
