Sound of Sunshine — pet-friendly Broken Bow cabin

Broken Bow cabins · Dogs welcome

Pet-friendly Broken Bow cabins — without the asterisks.

'Pet friendly' usually means '$200 fee plus a long list of can'ts.' Sound of Sunshine actually welcomes dogs: hard floors in the main living areas, easy outdoor access, a fenced fire-pit yard, and a flat per-stay pet fee disclosed at checkout — not after.

Designed so dogs aren't an awkward guest.

Hard floors throughout the main living area mean wet paws after a creek walk aren't a crisis. The back deck steps straight into the yard so the early-morning out-cycle is easy. The playset doubles as a chew-resistant dog magnet for younger pups.

Five dog-friendly minutes from the door.

Beavers Bend State Park is leash-on but generous with trails. The Mountain Fork River sandbars (10 minutes) are the classic 'tire the dog out' spot. Most Hochatown patios — Mountain Fork Brewery, Grateful Head — welcome dogs on outdoor seating.

Transparent pet fee, not a surprise.

One flat pet cleaning fee per stay, regardless of stay length or number of nights. The amount is shown at checkout — never added later. No square footage hidden charges, no per-dog scaling, no 'damage deposit' that vanishes into 'cleaning.'

Questions, answered

Plan with confidence.

Are your Broken Bow cabins pet-friendly?
Yes. Sound of Sunshine welcomes dogs, with hard floors throughout the main living area, easy outdoor access from the back deck, and proximity to dog-friendly trails at Beavers Bend State Park.
How many dogs can I bring?
Up to two dogs per stay is the standard allowance. Larger families with three dogs should request approval at booking — we usually say yes if the dogs are house-trained and crate-friendly.
What is the pet fee?
There is a flat pet cleaning fee per stay (not per night, not per dog) — the exact amount is shown during checkout. No surprise pet fees added later.
Are there off-leash areas nearby?
Beavers Bend State Park requires leashes, but Mountain Fork River sandbars and the cabin's own deck and yard are great open spaces. Hochatown is dog-friendly on most outdoor patios.
What should I bring for my dog?
Your own bed/crate, food bowl, food, leash, and waste bags. We provide outdoor cleanup stations but not pet supplies. Vet records aren't required but tags should be current.
