Broken Bow cabins with a private pool: the honest breakdown

Broken Bow cabins with a private pool: the honest breakdown

Which cabins have real private pools, what heating means in October, and how to book without getting fooled.

'Cabin with pool' is a top search — and half the listings are misleading. Here's the real deal.

PRIVATE vs SHARED. Some 'pool cabins' share a community pool with 30 other cabins. Ask directly. Private = yours alone.

HEATED vs UNHEATED. Unheated pools in Oklahoma are usable May-September. Heated pools stretch to April-October. Anything advertised as 'year-round' should specify the heat method and cost.

POOL SIZE. Standard rental pools are 12x24. Enough for a family of 6 to swim. Anything smaller is a plunge pool — nice but not a swim pool.

Skip the fees. Book direct.

Check live availability for both cabins and save up to 18% vs Airbnb. Use code PINES10 for 10% off your first direct stay.

ENCLOSED vs OPEN. Screened/enclosed pools = no bugs, use in shoulder season. Open pools = better views, sunbake weather.

HEATING COST. Many hosts pass through heating fees ($50-150/night) in cooler months. Ask before booking.

SAFETY. Fence + alarm required for cabins allowing under-12s.

AS GOOD AS IT GETS has a heated saltwater pool available April-October (heated on request in shoulder season, no extra fee for direct bookers). Ask us.
