1. CEDAR BLUFF (2 mi, moderate). Sandstone overlook facing west. Best afternoon hike. Golden hour = magic.
2. SKYLINE (4.5 mi, hard). Highest views. Start by 9 AM in summer. Bring 2L water.
3. DAVID BOREN TRAIL (2 mi, easy). Flat river walk. Kids + dogs welcome.

4. BEAVER LODGE (0.5 mi, easy). Loop past a beaver dam. Under 30 min. Best for kids under 6.
5. LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN (3 mi, hard). Less crowded than Skyline. Similar views. Steeper.
6. FRIENDS TRAIL (1.5 mi, moderate). Ridgeline hike. Fewer people. Bring bug spray in summer.
7. DAM SITE TRAIL (0.8 mi, easy). Overlook of Broken Bow dam. Not scenic — a curiosity hike.
8. INDIAN NATIONS SCENIC BYWAY (drive, not hike). If you have knees issues, this is the 'trail.' 60-mile loop north of the lake, full of overlooks.
BEST SEASON. Late October + April. Summer = 95°F humidity. Winter = beautiful, cold, empty.
GEAR. Trail shoes (not flip flops), water, bug spray May-September, layers October-March.
