After-dark: the case for the hot tub at 11pm

Why our most-loved amenity is the one you didn't think you needed.
Every guest discovers it the same way: dinner ends, the fire dies down, and someone suggests the hot tub. By 11pm everyone is in.
There is no light pollution here. The Milky Way sits just above the pine line from mid-March through October. In winter, Orion runs the same arc, and Jupiter is right there.
Both cabins have hot tubs on covered decks, so weather is never the reason not to. Our local team balances and tests them on every turnover, so you arrive to clean water at temperature — not 75°F and 'give it a couple hours.' This is the moment people email us about.
Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
Are Broken Bow cabin hot tubs private?
+
Almost always yes. Most cabin decks are positioned for privacy — but always confirm by checking the listing photos for fencing or tree cover.
Can you see stars from a Broken Bow hot tub?
+
Yes — Broken Bow has Bortle 3 dark skies, and from a hot tub on the deck you'll see the Milky Way on clear moonless nights.
