Broken Bow girls trip: the perfect 2-night plan

Girls trips are the second-most-common booking we get (after couples). Here's the 2-night format that works.

FRIDAY Arrive 3–5 PM. Stagger arrivals; the group is never on time. Have charcuterie + bubbles waiting.

Dinner Friday: keep it easy. Either order in from Rolling Fork Takery (brisket + sides for 6 is $90) or do Mountain Fork Brewery (walk-in, communal tables, no reservation stress).

Evening: hot tub + wine + a movie or a long porch hang. Don't overplan.

SATURDAY (the main day) Slow morning. Brunch in-cabin (mimosas + bagels) or drive to Blue Rooster.

Midday wine flight at Girls Gone Wine — exactly what it sounds like, perfect mid-day stop, no pressure.

Afternoon options (pick one): - Pontoon on the lake (book 2+ weeks ahead): 4 hours, coolers, swimsuits, music. Most fun if it's warm. - Hochatown Distilling tour + tasting + Mountain Fork Brewery patio. Walkable between, low effort. - Cabin day: pool, hot tub, books, cocktails. Sometimes this is the move.

Saturday dinner: Abendigo's if you can get the reservation (2 weeks out). Otherwise, hire a private chef for the cabin ($75–100/person, all included). Or one of the group does steaks on the grill.

Evening: fire pit, dance party in the living room (Bluetooth speaker), late hot tub.

SUNDAY Slow brunch in the cabin. Out by 11.
