Pet-friendly restaurants in Broken Bow and Hochatown

Most Hochatown restaurants have outdoor seating, and most of those welcome dogs. Here's the actual list.

1. Grateful Head Pizza — the gold standard. Big outdoor section, brings out water bowls, the staff fawns over every dog. Pizza is great, live music most weekends. The dog is the point here.

2. Mountain Fork Brewery — large patio, dogs allowed at any outdoor table. They don't bring a bowl but the staff is happy to fill yours.

3. Naaman's BBQ of Hochatown — patio is dog-friendly. Smoked-meat smells will make your dog crazy in the best way.

4. Beavers Bend Brewery — covered outdoor section allows dogs. Good for a rainy patio meal.

5. Girls Gone Wine — small porch, dogs welcome. Quiet enough that anxious dogs do okay.

6. Rolling Fork Takery — takeout, eaten at the riverside picnic tables. The whole area is dog-friendly; just bring your own leash.

7. The Hochatown Saloon — outdoor section allows dogs early evening; harder once it gets crowded.

NOT DOG-FRIENDLY Abendigo's Grill & Patio — indoor only despite the name. No dogs. Blue Rooster — small space, no dogs allowed. Most gas-station / chain stops in Broken Bow proper.

ETIQUETTE Bring your own water bowl and a few treats. Keep the leash short — busy patios have servers carrying trays. If your dog reacts to other dogs, sit at the edge of the patio.

VET EMERGENCIES Idabel Veterinary Hospital (30 min south) is the closest. After-hours: Paris, TX or Texarkana.

GROCERY Walmart Broken Bow has the full pet aisle. Hochatown Grocery carries basics only.
