Truly secluded Broken Bow cabins: how to tell

Truly secluded Broken Bow cabins: how to tell

The specific things that make a cabin actually secluded — not just marketing language.

'Secluded' is the most overused word in cabin marketing. Here's what actually makes a cabin private.

LOT SIZE. 1+ acre. Less than that = neighbors close by. Ask for the acreage.

TREE BUFFER. Mature pines on all sides. Look at satellite view in Google Maps — you can see gaps.

SET-BACK. Cabin should sit 100+ ft back from the road. Long driveway = privacy.

Skip the fees. Book direct.

Check live availability for both cabins and save up to 18% vs Airbnb. Use code PINES10 for 10% off your first direct stay.

NEIGHBOR DISTANCE. Ask 'how close is the next cabin?' A real host answers with a number.

ROAD NOISE. Cabins on Highway 259 or off Stevens Gap main road hear traffic. Interior roads = quiet.

LAKE PROXIMITY. Waterfront cabins are LESS private in summer (boats). Off-water pine cabins are more secluded.

HOA vs INDIVIDUAL. HOA developments (like Hochatown Junction) have 20+ cabins packed close. Individual cabins on their own lots = private.

OUR CABINS. As Good As It Gets is on a 1.5-acre wooded lot, one neighbor 200 ft away. Sound of Sunshine is on a 1-acre pine lot with a tree buffer.
