Dog-friendly Broken Bow cabins: the honest guide

Dog-friendly Broken Bow cabins: the honest guide

Fees, restrictions, trail rules, and what makes a cabin actually work for dogs.

Half our guests bring dogs. Here's the truth about traveling to Broken Bow with pets.

FEES. Most 'dog-friendly' cabins charge $50-150 per dog per stay. Ask upfront. Ours: $50/dog flat.

BREED RESTRICTIONS. Some hosts ban certain breeds. Read the listing. We allow all breeds — just be honest about size and count.

DOG COUNT. Most cabins cap at 2 dogs. We allow up to 3.

Skip the fees. Book direct.

Check live availability for both cabins and save up to 18% vs Airbnb. Use code PINES10 for 10% off your first direct stay.

FENCED YARDS. Rare in Broken Bow (wooded lots, big properties). Ask for photos of the yard. Most hosts allow leashed dogs only.

CRATE POLICY. Most hosts require crating if you leave the dog alone. Some require dogs stay off furniture.

TRAILS. Beavers Bend State Park allows leashed dogs on all trails. Cedar Bluff and Beaver Lodge Trail are the best dog hikes.

RESTAURANTS. Grateful Head Pizza and Mountain Fork Brewery have dog-friendly patios.

VET EMERGENCIES. McCurtain County Animal Hospital in Idabel (40 min). No 24-hour vet in the area — plan.

OUR CABINS are dog-friendly with real dog logistics — fenced areas, poop bags, water bowls, and towels for muddy paws. Direct-book at brokenbowescapes.com.
